The only side effect that is worth mentioning is that it can cause skin redness and swelling, which will go away after a few hours. Other side effects of cosmetic radiofrequency treatments are typically mild and transient. They include redness, swelling, and pain at the injection site. Some patients may also experience a temporary increase in hair growth or skin pigmentation.
